Thainess
The Thainess channel carries stories from Thailand to viewers. It has been broadcast on the AsiaSat 7 satellite for several years, is available on AIS Play and TrueID in Thailand, and Thainess programmes are carried on Thai Airways inflight entertainment (IFE).
Thainess by satellite
Thainess has been broadcast for several years through the AsiaSat 7 satellite. AsiaSat states that its satellite fleet has access to more than 860 million households and more than 550,000 hotel rooms across Asia-Pacific. These figures describe the size of the satellite base, not the number of people who watch Thainess. The C-band beam of AsiaSat 7 covers Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia and Australasia, which is the coverage area of the satellite. Thainess is broadcast across Asia-Pacific including Oceania. Hotels in Asia carry the channel. In Thailand, Thainess is available on AIS Play and TrueID.
